It is NFL fans favorite part of the spring approaching, the NFL draft where Fans of every team in the league watches in hopes that their team is drafting their next cornerstone piece. As a disclaimer for this mock, I will not be doing any trades and I am also doing this based off of what I think each team will do.

1st Pick Jaguars

I have the Jaguars selecting Aidan Hutchinson edge rusher out of Michigan. He will bring that tenacity and (no pun intended) the edge and mentality the Jaguars need to return to being Sacksonville.

2nd Pick Lions

I have the Lions taking Kyle Hamilton safety out of Notre Dame. He is a generational talent and exactly the type of guy Dan Campbell needs in his secondary to continue to transform this Lions team into a serious threat someday.

3rd Pick Texans

I have the Texans taking Charles Cross tackle out of Mississippi. If they truly believe Davis Mills is their guy then they need to upgrade that offense, and that should start up front. Of the top 3 guys at Tackle, he is the best at protecting his quarterback.

4th Pick Jets

I have the Jets taking Derek Stingley JR. cornerback out of LSU. If this team is going to be led by Robert Salah, they are going to need a defense that gets after it, they have some pieces in their front 7 add a guy like Stingley in the back end and they get one step closer to a defense to match their coach.

5th Pick Giants

I have the Giants taking Kayvon Thibodeaux edge out of Oregon.  At one point he was projected first to get him here is a steal they need playmakers desperately and they get one here on the defensive side.

6th Pick Panthers

I have the Panthers taking in state Tackle Ikem Ekwonu out of NC State. He is the nastiest and most physical of the three tackles and is a local kid, it can’t get much better than this for Matt Rhule and the panthers who need offensive line help badly.

7th Pick Giants

With back-to-back Tackle picks I have the Giants taking Evan Neal tackle out of Alabama. He was the guy coming into the year everyone had going number 1 however, he has slipped a little bit over concerns of his footwork in the pass game. With that being said he is absolutely dominant in the run game and will be greatly appreciated by Saquon Barkley.

8th Pick Falcons

The Falcons are in complete rebuild mode and without their no. 1 receiver this year with Calvin Ridley being suspended as a result I have them selecting Garrett Wilson receiver out of Ohio State. While I expect him to help Mariota out instantly this is a long-term investment for their next franchise Quarterback alongside Calvin Ridley.

9th pick Seahawks

They are now past the Russell Wilson era and are in a rebuild, what is every team’s goal in this situation? To find a franchise Quarterback. I believe the Seahawks do this here by selecting Malik Willis quarterback out of Liberty. He is my qb1 and should be everyone else’s. He is big, strong, athletic and likeable. Not to mention he has a cannon of an arm; it doesn’t get much better than Malik Willis at qb in this draft.

10th Pick Jets

With their first pick I had the Jets taking someone to help Robert Salah’s Defense now I have them give Zach Wilson a dominant X receiver in Drake London out of USC. He is big with great hands and contested catch ability aka a young qb’s best friend.

11th Pick Commanders

The Commanders have receivers they have a solid Offensive line and multiple running backs. While QB is still a question they signed Wentz this off season, so I don’t see them going that route. With that being said I have them solidifying their already elite front 7 with Nakobe Dean Linebacker from Georgia. He is everything you want in your Will Linebacker; he is physical fast and the definition of a leader on the field.

12th Pick Vikings

The Vikings biggest need sticks out like a sore thumb. They are desperate for a corner. I have them selecting the best zone corner in the draft Trent McDuffie out of Washington. While his interception numbers don’t show it, I think he can be a playmaker in the league. he can play slot or outside and is more than willing to come up and mix it up in the run game.

13th Pick Texans

With their first pick I had them getting some protection for Davis Mills and I have them continuing that trend of improving the offensive side and taking wide receiver Treylon Burks out of Arkansas. He has the rare size and speed combo and his after the catch ability should be very favorable to Davis Mills.

14th Pick Ravens

The Ravens were ravaged by injury last year causing them to miss the playoffs. While those guys will return for next year their center will not be, as Bradley Bozeman has signed with the Dolphins this offseason.  That being said I have them taking center Tyler Linderbaum. One word to describe him, athletic. If it wasn’t for Creed Humphrey, he would be the best Center prospect in a while.

15th Pick Eagles

The eagles need defensive help at literally every position luckily for them they have 2 first round picks to address this and their glaring receiver problem on offense. with that being said I have them taking Sauce Gardner out of Cincinnati. They need a shutdown corner in a league with a ton of elite wideouts and quarterbacks, Sauce is exactly that a shutdown man corner.

16th Pick Saints

With the Eagles second selection in the first round going to the saints, while I do believe in Jameis they wouldn’t trade up for this pick unless they were making a play on a Quarterback. With that being said I have them taking Desmond Ridder out of Cincinnati. He is a dynamic playmaker with a great throwing motion and a proven winner. Who better to lead them post Sean Peyton?

17th Pick Chargers

I have Georgia having their second defensive player taken here with the selection of Devonte Wyatt. He is an interior who I believe to be a little more versatile than Jordan Davis and should pair nicely with Sebastian Joseph-Day and really solidify that defensive front in the run game.

18th Pick Eagles

Now I have the eagles trying to get back to their Super Bowl days and improving their defensive front. Their sauce is gone and to revitalize that I have them taking Travon Walker edge out of Georgia. He is explosive, big, and powerful. He can be what they need to turn their defense around in both the run and pass.

19th Pick Saints

I have the Saints shocking everyone and taking Bernhard Raimann tackle out of Central Michigan. They need to replace Terron Armstead and who better to do it then the quick footed big man with elite pass pro skills.

20th pick Steelers

The steelers whether they want to admit it or not are probably on the brink of at least a semi rebuild. Their quarterback situation stinks, and their offensive line situation is arguably worst. In addition to this several holes on the defense. Lucky for them they have TJ Watt to somewhat cover that up so they can focus on offense. this is why I have them taking Trevor Penning tackle out of Northern Iowa. Penning is going to come in and instantly change their run game and be amongst the nastiest Physical tackles in the league.

21st Pick Patriots

I have the patriots selecting edge rusher out of Purdue George Karlaftis. He doesn’t have the crazy upside of the other guys of the class but what he has is power and just a nose for the game, he feels like a Belichick guy.

22nd Pick Packers

This one is another very obvious one the Packers need to go receiver. I have them selecting Jameson Williams out of Alabama. He isn’t just a speed guy like most think he is an elite route runner who is flat out special with the ball in his hands. With Aaron Rodgers he can be elevated to being a top guy in this league.

23rd Pick Cardinals

After this past season watching Kyler Murray get injured the Cardinals first step has got to be to protect their franchise quarterback. I have them taking Zion Johnson Guard out of Boston College. He is flat out powerful and can bring some edge to a flat-out soft Cardinals line.

24th Pick Cowboys

This is one that is obvious to me, the Cowboys select Jordan Davis defensive tackle out of Georgia. The Cowboys were pushed around against the niners. They have a very strong roster outside of this he could be the missing piece that makes them a championship caliber defense.

25th Pick Bills

Jermaine Johnson edge out of Florida State for the Buffalo Bills. He had a great senior Bowl and great production last season with 14 sacks. He doesn’t have a ton of power, but he can be elite in both the run and the pass, and he is extremely athletic and can give an already Great Buffalo Defense some juice.

26th Pick Titans

Chris Olave receiver out of Ohio State. The Julio experiment didn’t work, and they signed Robert Woods.  I have them pairing AJ Brown, in addition to Robert Woods, with the best Route runner of the class and one of the fastest guys to hopefully give Tannehill a bounce back season.

27th Pick Buccaneers

Kenyon green guard out of Texas A&M is who I have the Buccaneers taking. They lost several Offensive lineman and signed Shaq Mason, ironically enough he reminds me of a more versatile Shaq Mason.

28th Pick Packers

I have packers with their second first round pick taking Arnold Ebiketie edge out of Penn State. Ebiketie can play a down lineman role for them and rotate around with Gary and Smith. The Packers will look to Rashan Gary to replace Z Smith’s role. Ebiketie will be looked to as a fill into Gary’s former role as a rotational pass rusher and every down run stopper.

29th Pick Chiefs

selecting Kaiir Elam corner out of Florida. While he has some major concerns like penalties, he is long and physical and has an edge to him. He has all the makings of a shutdown corner.

30th pick Chiefs

With their second of back-to-back picks, I have the Chiefs selecting Skyy Moore. The pairing of these two is a match made in heaven. Skyy isn’t Tyreek Hill, he can replace some of what they lost. He led the FBS in broken Tackles and practically flies off the screen, with Mahomes he is guaranteed to be an elite playmaker at the next level.

31st Pick Bengals

The Bengals had a miracle run to the Super Bowl last season and had a surprisingly good defense. The only true hole on that team that appeared was the Offensive line. The Bengals however, addressed that issue in free agency. There also isn’t anyone here who I like on the offensive line, so they go best available in Devin Lloyd linebacker out of Utah. While there is an argument between him, and Chenal I like the fit of Lloyd here and his versatility. I think him, and Logan Wilson can be a top linebacker duo for a decade.

32nd Pick Lions

With the last pick of the first round, I have the Lions selecting Matt Corrall Quarterback Ole Miss. While Jared Goff was serviceable last year, he is not the future. I think he can be the mentor Matt Corrall could use in an Alex Smith role. He is accurate and athletic; he might not have the arm of some other guys but he has protected the Football better each year and can continue to grow and be the answer for the Lions and this rebuild.
