Wild Card Weekend

It is everyone’s favorite time of the year, playoff football time. With the NFL having a one-and-done playoff system it makes the games all the more exciting. In addition to this, the NFL recently introduced an extra seed therefore an extra game. Wild card weekend kicks it off this weekend and we start to see who can really go on a run and finish with the Lombardi in hand. Even more intriguing is debating with your buddies about who is serious as a contender and who isn’t so here is my wild card weekend predictions.

Bengals vs Raiders

I am actually going to go with the upset. The Bengals are red hot with several elite weapons an elite quarterback and a very good pass rush but I think the Bengals are even hotter coming off the game of the year vs the chargers. Derek Carr is better than people think, and I also think Rich Bisaccia will prove why he should remain the Raiders head coach. I also think with Madd Maxx Crosby playing his best football and a frankly still below average Bengals offensive line it could be a long day for Burrow and the Bengals. Not to mention if the Raiders can get the ground game rolling with Josh Jacobs, they can make Burrow watch the game. Raiders 27-24

Chiefs vs Steelers

Not much to really say here the Steelers are just outmatched their offense which has been painful to watch doesn’t stand much chance to go toe to toe with Mahomes I will say though I think the Steelers will cover the spread of 12.5 according to Caesars Sportsbook. Final score 30-20 Chiefs

Bills vs Patriots

This one is one of the more intriguing playoff games as Belichick is one of the greatest minds in sports history and has given the Bills trouble for well over 2 decades. However, this Bills team greatly outmatches the pats when it comes to talent and I think the Gap is too much to overcome and I can’t see this elite Bills defense allowing the rookie Mac Jones to have any breathing room I’m going Bills 24-16

Bucs vs Eagles

This one that I think either ends in Bucs blowout win or eagles squeaking by, and I think the former is more likely. The Eagles are a good run team the Bucs shut down the run the Bucs air it out the Eagles have weak corners. It all around is a mismatch. Final score Bucs 34-20

Niners vs Cowboys

As dangerous as the Niners are I think this is another mismatch. The Niners want to get out on the edges and run and the Cowboys strength is their edges and their athleticism. On offense, the Cowboys have a ton of weapons to throw it and the Niners are weak on the back end. final score 24-20 Cowboys

Rams vs Cardinals

The Cardinals are trending down and without D Hop Ramsey can roam around free and that Rams pash rush can get to Murray. I also believe we will see a breakout game from Matt Stafford as the rams prove they are legit. Final Score Rams 27- 23
