Bogdan Bogdanović just signed a 4yr/$72m contract with the Atlanta Hawks. Bogi has been a hot free agent target, heavily pursued by the Hawks throughout this off-season.
This addition makes the Hawks more efficient all around and makes Atlanta offensively more dominant than in previous years. Bogdanović is coming off one of his best seasons averaging 15 PPG,3 APG and 3 RPG respectively.
This addition adds to a plethora of signings from the Hawks this free-agency period. They have already added Rajon Rondo, Kris Dunn, Danillo Galinari, and now Bogdan Bogdanović. This addition adds some much needed stability and depth to their 2 guard spot, as Bogdanović will be flanked by Cam Reddish and Kevin Huerter.
The deal comes as the Hawks have the utmost confidence in the third year guard out of Serbia. Bogdanović has improved his numbers all three seasons, can create his own shot, and more importantly can adapt to system basketball.
The Hawks have already put themselves into playoff contention with these moves and the future is bright in the A!
