2. Denver Nuggets
Denver is either a hit or miss on 2k; meaning if you can’t get a handle on this squad in a few games then you will lose every game with this team.
Jamal Murray and Jokic are one of the most underrated duos in the NBA, and this translates to 2k. One of the best at the pick n pop and pick n roll game you will find that if your opponent can’t grasp that strategy, then you will get an easy bucket off this almost every possession. Murray’s quickness to attack the gaps in the defense shifts so shooters like Will Barton and Gary Harris get into a rhythm.
Like many teams you rely on your bench and the Nuggets have an even deeper bench now with what we saw from Bol Bol a couple days ago in the bubble. A bench consisting of Monte Morris, Torrey Craig, Jeremi Grant, Mason Plumlee, and MIchael Porter Jr is a scary sight and sometimes you might even use the bench more than the starting unit when you play because you barely notice from one lineup to the next.
Morris is a great ball handler who can control the tempo of the game, followed by an athletic Jerami Grant, shooters in Porter Jr and Craig, and a relentless grit and grind player in Plumlee.
The Denver Nuggets can be a sure thing if you are comfortable with this squad; almost like that present on Christmas you’ve been waiting for months to open.
